Brief

We have created a ride share app from scratch for within the city of Amsterdam in less than three months. From first designs drafts and UX, to application development and middleware (including payments).

Travel in a comfortable & affordable way in the city by sharing your ride with other travellers. The more flexible you are with your time, the lower the price for your ride will be.

Abel is like an elevator. Maybe someone’s already in the car, or gets in later. Sharing rides is cheaper, more social and also more fun!

Abel was launched as an Uber-challenger and quickly obtained a big group of users within the city of Amsterdam. By offering a very competitive price for travellers that were willing to share a vehicle the corporate start-up Abel (part of Connexxion) was able to create a loyal base of over 20.000 users of mainly students and young professionals.
